Rob McEwen is the Chairman and Chief Owner of McEwen Mining Inc owning 24% of the Company with $161 million of his own after-tax dollars invested in the Company.  Rob has elected to take an annual salary of $1 and does not take a bonus or options. He is the founder and former Chairman and CEO of Goldcorp Inc., which is one of the largest gold producers in the world. In 1990, Rob jumped from the investment industry into the mining industry. By 1993, he had begun a consolidation of five companies that would take eight years to complete. The resultant company was Goldcorp Inc. which has become a gold mining powerhouse. During the last thirteen years of Rob being Goldcorp’s CEO, the company’s market capitalization grew from $50 million to over $8 billion and its share price grew at a compound annual rate of 31%.

Rob and his wife, Cheryl, have donated in excess of $50 million to encourage excellence and innovation in healthcare and education. Their donations have led to the establishment of the McEwen Centre for Regenerative Medicine at Toronto General Hospital, McEwen School of Architecture at Laurentian University and of the McEwen Leadership Program at St. Andrew’s College. In addition, significant donations were made to the Schulich School of Business, the Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital, Lakefield College and Red Lake Regional Heritage Centre to further their efforts to be the best in their respective fields.

Rob is a passionate innovator, marketer and an avid recreational competitor. He is also a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board, Schulich School of Business; X Prize Foundation: Vision Circle and Board of Trustees; Global Advisory Counsel; ISSCR (International Society of Stem Cell Research); CEO (Chief Executive Organization) and WPO (World Presidents’ Organization).

Rob was awarded the Order of Canada in 2007 and the Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee Award in 2013. He holds an Honorary Doctor of Laws and an MBA from York University and a BA from the University of Western Ontario. Also, he received the 2001 PDAC Developer of the Year Award and was inducted into The Canadian Mining Hall of Fame in 2017.

As Chairman and CEO, Anthony Milewski is the driving force behind Cobalt 27 Capital Corp. In June 2017, Cobalt 27 completed the largest mining IPO in Canada since 2012, signaling to international capital markets the beginning of a large and fast moving battery metals upcycle.  Formed to build a direct-play portfolio of cobalt streaming, royalty and physical cobalt assets, Cobalt 27 acquired 2,982.9 tonnes of physical cobalt, the world’s second largest above ground inventory of refined cobalt after the Government of China’s strategic stockpile. In 2017, Anthony accepted an invitation from the London Metals Exchange to join the LME Cobalt Committee which includes representatives from the largest mining and commodities companies globally to represent the interests of the industry to the board of directors the LME.

Mr. Milewski is also a Managing Director and member of the investment team at Pala Investments Limited.  Prior to joining Pala Investments, he worked at Firebird Management, Renaissance Capital and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in Moscow, where he focused on advisory and transactional work in metals & mining and oil & gas sectors.  He has lived and worked in Africa and Russia, including a year as a Fulbright scholar, and has spent considerable time in Central Asia.  Mr. Milewski holds a B.A. in Russian history from Brigham Young University, an M.A. in Russian and Central Asian Studies from the University of Washington, and a J.D. from the University of Washington.  He holds an LLM from the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Ronald is a Managing Partner and Investment Manager of Incrementum AG. Together with Mark Valek, he manages a global macro fund which is based on the principles of the Austrian School of Economics. Previously, he worked seven years for Vienna-based Erste Group Bank where he began writing extensive reports on gold and oil. His benchmark reports called ‘In GOLD we TRUST’ drew international coverage on CNBC and Bloomberg, and in the Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times. During his studies in business administration, economics and finance at the Vienna University of Economics and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he worked for Raiffeisen Zentralbank (RZB) in the field of Fixed Income/Credit Investments. After graduation, he participated in various courses in Austrian Economics and obtained a Chartered Market Technician (CMT) and a Certified Financial Technician (CFTe) designation. Next to his work at Incrementum, he is a lecturing member of the Institute of Value-Based Economics and a lecturer at the Academy of the Vienna Stock Exchange.
