Ross Beaty is a geologist and resource entrepreneur with over 41 years of experience in the international minerals and renewable energy industries. A graduate of the University of BC in geology and law and Imperial College in geology, Mr. Beaty is an internationally recognized leader in both non-renewable and renewable resource development. He has founded and divested a number of companies and remains founder and Chairman of Pan American Silver Corp., one of the world’s leading silver producers, and founder and Chairman of Alterra Power Corp., a mid-sized renewable energy company with solar, wind, hydro, and geothermal power operations in BC, Ontario, Nevada, and Iceland. Mr. Beaty is also a well-known environmental philanthropist, primarily through The Sitka Foundation. He is a Director of the Nature Trust of BC, Director of The Pacific Salmon Foundation and patron of the Beaty Biodiversity Center at the University of BC.

Lukas Lundin is head of the Lundin Group of Companies, a leading force in the mining and oil and gas industries. A well-known and respected business leader and philanthropist, Mr. Lundin has enjoyed international success in the resource industry, spearheading numerous world-class discoveries and developments worldwide in both the mining and oil and gas sectors. Ronald is a Managing Partner and Investment Manager of Incrementum AG. Together with Mark Valek, he manages a global macro fund which is based on the principles of the Austrian School of Economics. Previously, he worked seven years for Vienna-based Erste Group Bank where he began writing extensive reports on gold and oil. His benchmark reports called ‘In GOLD we TRUST’ drew international coverage on CNBC and Bloomberg, and in the Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times. During his studies in business administration, economics and finance at the Vienna University of Economics and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he worked for Raiffeisen Zentralbank (RZB) in the field of Fixed Income/Credit Investments. After graduation, he participated in various courses in Austrian Economics and obtained a Chartered Market Technician (CMT) and a Certified Financial Technician (CFTe) designation. Next to his work at Incrementum, he is a lecturing member of the Institute of Value-Based Economics and a lecturer at the Academy of the Vienna Stock Exchange.
